Mark is a Chartered Health & Safety Professional with an Environmental Health degree and over 20 years’ experience across multiple sectors, including local government, the Ministry of Justice (Prisons), education, hospitality, leisure, and professional sport, in the UK and internationally. He has worked extensively with corporate and private clients, applying strategic and operational expertise to resolve complex health and safety challenges in diverse environments. His experience includes managing large-scale and high-risk operations, from cruise ships and major international events to mining and oil and gas projects overseas. He has held senior leadership roles delivering health and safety management systems, improving performance, and strengthening corporate governance. Alongside strategic leadership, he has maintained hands-on responsibility for day-to-day health and safety management across complex operations.
