This 3 day specialist course builds on the background of the highly recognised IOSH Managing Safely and provides bespoke content relevant to two streams:

• Live events (festival, exhibitions,theatre)

 

It is designed for event managers, producers, directors, production managers, site managers and all those who need to have an understanding of their key duties for health & safety, an understanding of preparing an effective risk assessment and key hazards in their sector.

• Introduction to Managing Safely

• Assessing risk

• Controlling risk

• Understanding responsibilities

• Overview of key legislation

• Measuring performance

• Key specific hazards in our sector

• Understanding CDM and our duties in production

• Working with crowds (live events)

• Stunts and SFX (TV productions)

• Investigating incidents
